Waring raised similar claims about formations that appeared in data of the seabed off Cuba, suggesting that the parallel and intersecting lines might indicate the remains of an ancient submerged settlement.

He estimated the area to extend for several kilometers and suggested a potential link to an ancient human civilization that suffered a natural disaster.

However, these claims also have not undergone, according to the available information, an independent scientific investigation.

Thus, the images remain intriguing, but the distance between a strange shape on a map of the ocean floor and an archaeological discovery or “space base” requires field evidence that maps alone do not provide.
